Q: Okay, so how long have you been working here in Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre?

A : Oh, i’ve been working here for 3 years

Q : Can you share some of your knowledge about this shopping centre?

A: This shopping centre has been around for 35 years , and the development was helped by government.

Q:What is the main attraction here?

A: Well, most people go to the gym,martial arts centre and restaurant.

Q:What other changes do you think will be made in the shopping centre for the next 5 years?

A:Well, the counsel planned to install some banks and ATM’s to the shopping centre

A: You can call me Mr.Heng

Q:How long have you been living here in hougang?

A:I have been living here in hougang around 5 years

Q: Do you live in this kampong area?

A: No, i live in Sengkang area sometimes i came here to cycle as the scenery of the kampong was very peaceful

Q:If its possible, can you share some of your knowledge about this area?

A: Well around this area there used to be an old institute hospital called the Woodbridge Institute which now has been moved to Hougang Green area and now the hospital was named Institute Mental Hospital (IMH)

Q:What other changes do you think will be made i the next 8 years around this area?

A:The kampong area will be gone as i think the land would be really useful to the government as they can use the land to build houses and manu more buildings

A: My name is Ms.Hoe

Q : How long have you been staying here in hougang?

A: I have been staying here for 20 over years

Q:Can you tell us the difference between old Hougang and new Hougang?

A:The old Hougang has lesser buildings and storeys  with more space for people to do activities like playgrounds and etc

Q:What other changes do you think will be made after the next 5 years?

A:They will repaint the buildings and constructions like elevators and so on
